Polygraph / Interview and
Interrogation
Since 1977, Edward R. Kirby &
Associates has offered polygraph service, along
with interview and interrogations, to its clients as an aid to investigation. All of
our examiners were trained at Reid College, the premier Detection of Deception
institute in the world. In addition, each and every examiner of Edward R.
Kirby & Associates has either a law enforcement or an investigative background
which supplements his polygraph knowledge. Kirby examiners have conducted
in excess of 10,000 polygraph examinations on issues such as burglary, robbery,
theft, drugs, murder, and sexual assault. Since the passage of the Federal
Employee Polygraph Protection Act, corporate use of polygraph has been severely
restricted. However, the examiners and investigators of Edward R. Kirby & Associates
are well versed in interview and interrogation techniques. Oftentimes, using some
of the tried and true polygraph questioning techniques, through simple interviewing
in a non-accusatory manner, our well trained personnel are able to determine, with a
high degree of reliability, the employee's truthfulness or lack thereof to the issue
under investigation. By utilizing this aid to an investigation, the investigators are
able to focus their attention on the proper suspect and/or continue the interview
culminating in a confession.
